I'm planting up a small, orange-coloured hanging basket tomorrow.
The plant MUST be a trailing plant, and its flowers should go with the orange-colour of the hanging basket.
The hanging basket is very small so the plant can't be a big plant: I was thinking some sort of trailing alpine flower.
If possible, the plant should be something readily available in shops because I'm doing the buying tomorrow AND planting tomorrow!
If you can deal with this question, then you deserve thumbs up and 5 stars. Good Luck and thanks.
Which plant would be good for me?
Try Bidens, easily available as a plug plant from any good garden centre.
Reply:I think white Impatiens would go nicely in the orange colored hanging basket. The add Vinca Vine to the basket. Since the basket is very small, just add one container of Vinca Vine to the middle of the basket %26amp; surround it with white Impatiens. The Vinca Vine grows quickly %26amp; cascades down the sides of the basket. I plant it in all of my hanging baskets %26amp; window boxes for that extra touch.
Reply:Nastursiums are a beautiufl flower with orange tones. They are also edible and can be added to salads for a nice touch to the meal.
Mostly this depends on the area you live in. Nastursiums may not be native to your area. They do grow very well though and multiply too.
Good Luck!
