Jobs for 16 year olds?

It's time for me to get my first job but i'm not sure were to go.I can't work the cash register cause i'm not that good at math,but I can work with pepole.I was thinking starbucks,a local flower shop or petsmart.Please help my mom is freakin' bugging me about it!

Most jobs where you work with people will also require you to use a cash register. The new computerized registers dont require great math skills. They will tell you how much change to give the customer. Small local businesses are good because they are not extremely busy most days and you will not be pressured handling money while a crowd waits.
Reply:now a days a cash register gives you the total of what is due back to the customer so you could do it. anyplace that interests you would be a good place for you to try.

Reply:Starbucks, floral shops, PetSmart or any retailer will probably require that you use a cash register. Check around with local business offices~maybe they could use someone a few hours a week to help with filing, how about bagging at a grocery? Talk with your school counselor. He or she might have some suggestions or maybe even know of some creative jobs in your community....maybe even right there at the school!
