My restaurant resume, hows it sound?

for restaurants in down town seattle

last three months - intern design firm

last six months - restaurant as server in florida

98-2006 - flower shop in iowa

i applied as server or busser. no one is calling back i dropped a grip off and i'm thinking i shouldn't have given em to every restaurant in down town seattle, which i did. and maybe i should of waited and lied. Or maybe i should just be persistent.

My restaurant resume, hows it sound?
Call back and show that you want a job. Restaurant managers always have a lot on their minds, the last of which is looking over an employment application. Call back from 2-4 and if you don't get to speak to a manager, go in and have lunch. Mention something to your server and chances are somebody will at least come over and speak to you. I've been a restaurant manager for years in fine dining and the best person to hire is somebody who likes to dine at your establishment. Show them you like the place and really want to work there. And bring a pen when filling out an application.... if you don't, there's a good chance they won't even look at your resume/application.
Reply:well maybe you should call back...its slow season(well at least in Florida) for the restaurant business...when you drop off applications ask to speak to the manager...if they are not there ask for their name and call em in a day or two..
