What container plants like a LOT of moisture?

I'm looking to start my first container garden in South Korea, which has monsoon summers.

I have a covered porch, where I was thinking of putting impatiens.

I also have a patio without a roof where I'd like to put some more plants. I don't know what might work here.

I'll appreciate any advice, because I really miss my plants.

Oh, and I haven't found a nursery here to ask. Lots of flower shops, but nothing for landscaping.

Thanks.

Cyperus papyrus, C. alternifolia, C. haspan are water loving plants. Junkus and sweet grass (vanilla smudge) like wet conditions. Also lotus. There are quite a few water loving plants.

Here are some links for water gardens:

Reply:Orchids and ferns.

Impatiens, ivy and spider plants are subject to root rot in the presence of high moisture
Reply:Impatiens are a good choice also spider plants and swedish ivy they also can handle water well,

As to a landscaping place it is probably best to ask a flower vendor they may be able to start you in the right direction...have fun!!
