Hey is really a dry season over there this time of year?
I'm,asking because I was hoping to have lilacs for my wedding.. and sadly they are blooming in canada now. (And probably won't be still blooming in time for the wedding in 11 days)
the flower shop was going to order them from Holland.. but they said it's kinda dry over there?
I was just curious if I should look into calling other flower shops to see if maybe they have a different supplier?
Lillacs in Holland?
The Lilacs were in bloom out in the open a few weeks back already, so I am afraid that open air lilacs will be gone now.
I am not sure they are grown in greenhouses, specially not to make them later, but you can only try.
It is not that is has been dry, but it has been a mild winter with a warm spring and lately a hot spell.
Lilacs are spring flowers and will be early because of those reasons.
Reply:lilacs are blooming all summer here, big farms with fields with liliacs all over. it is not too dry for them. and there are all different kinds. they will be send bij airplane and in a cold place. so they will be fine to use for your wedding.
have a nice wedding, congratulations.

We had indeed some warm sunny weeks, but also rain. And a lot of flowers are growing in green houses.
Reply:Hi,
I would try another shop, it has been not THAT dry over here...
