How can i quit at work?
It is always best if you have another job to go to. But, if you don't and you can afford it, simply give a two week notice. If it is possible during that two weeks, or even before on your days off, look for another job. But, during that two weeks get all your ducks in a row, references, job history and anything else you may need to find a new job. Whatever you do, don't just simply walk out on your present job.
Reply:Schedule a meeting with your boss for Friday afternoon and let him know that the present arrangement isn't working out for you so you've decided to leave. Since you just started, you shouldn't have to give the traditional "two weeks notice" so an extra week should be fine...
Reply:You could do the right thing and give a two week notice or just call up and say you quit!
Reply:Usually you have to give your notice of quiting at least of 15 days before you do so, in order to have a clean work ethic.

As well, talk with your boss, perhaps that time can be shorter.
Reply:JUST TELL THEM THIS IS YOUR LAST WEEK YOUR GOING DOWN A DIFFERENT ROAD...
Reply:Just never go back! Send a letter and ask that they send your check to your address.

Geeze - that is bad!!

Do you need this boss as a reference? If so, treat the situation with responsibility. Quit with dignity. The two weeks notice, the whole nine yards.

If you don't need them for a reference - use this as your time to go crazy wild with your quitting technique. Trust me - when you get older, and in a job that you will need to quit in a responsible way, you can look back on this one and have a laugh. Throw a bunch of flowers in the coffee pot, yell that you have been pushed beyond what is acceptable, and run out the door, screaming and flailing your arms like a monkey.

Your call!

Reply:I think if you're able that you should give a two weeks notice so they have ample time to replace you. You never know when you might want to use that job for a reference.
Reply:Just scream " I QUIT!!!!"
