Favorite Mystery series?

I see a bunck of mystery series out there like The Hannah swenson series and the flower shop series. What are your favorite mystery series or authors?

Favorite Mystery series?
The Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. It is murder mystery with a chick lit. twist - completely brilliant. And hilarious. Begins with 'One for the Money.'



Or the two series by James Patterson: Alex Cross (Along Came a Spider); Women's Murder Club (1st to Die).



Or Nora Roberts as J.D. Robb 'In Death' series (Naked in Death).
Reply:Karin Fossum's Inspector Sejer series is awesome. Konrad Sejer is a detective in Norway; it is very interesting to learn about Norway while reading a great mystery with great characters. I also adore Ruth Rendell but I love both her Wexford books as well as her standalone stories.

they dont LOOK like mysteries but they are and they are VERY good. the pretty little liars series is definitely more exciting and mysterious than the other one though. i definitely reccomend it. =]

i really loved agatha christie.

the one book i adore would probably be and then there were none

it's about 10 strangers who are all sent to this house and they don't know why. but what they don't know also is that they all have something in common. and the murderer is killing them off one by one and they all try to figure out who the killer really is and at the same time hide their deepest secrets from the others.
Reply:you might consider R.L. Stine as more of a horror or thriller author,

but a lot, acutally most, of his books are mysteries too...



like Fear Street series

some of the Goosebumps

Dark Terrors

and some of his single novels...



so not only are they murder mysteries, or other types of mysteries, they have a scary twist. =)
