What type of turtle do I have?
I am a US soldier in Korea, and I have purchased a turtle on base, at a flower shop. The owner isn't great at English. I know we can not sell items on base from a different country, so I thought maybe you could help. They grow to 3 inches, (right now are 1.5 inches), shell is not boxed, very distinct yellow and green swirls on shell, yellow and dark green stripes on face and neck, stout nose, and a yellow underbelly with black markings under the base of the neck and tail. Please help me figure out the species of bait and speedy!

For pics to compare check out the link below its pictures of my turtles, I have 2 yellow Bellys and 2 Ouachita Maps. If you ever have questions or anything about the turtles hit me up on IM or Email. Oh and btw since you have yellow swirls, I don't think its a reeves turtle. it sounds like a yellow belly.....and they can grow up to 8 inches for males and 12 inches for females. The Ouachita maps are a bit smaller but not much. I bought all of mine the size of a quarter and 6 months later they are about 4 inches.

~Give or take about $10-$12 dollars mabye. I don't know how much roses usually cost. I would say about $1 a flower that way they are afforadable. But you could make it $2 a flower.Or inbetween that.

Flowers: exotic tropicals, hydrangeas, tulips, irises, lilies, gardenias, jasmine, magnolia,.....
Price range: @ $35.00, with lower and higher priced items.

If you can try to make a book of the different arrangements that you have or can make. Hope this helps lots of luck.

THis weather is sooooooo beautiful. i have been outside the whole day playing volleyball, gardening flowers, shopping, etc. love it. how about you guys. i hope you all are enjoying it.

Reply:seems I am the only one who doesn't like it. I just think upper 70's is hot. I think lower to mid 60's is perfect. all you need is maybe a light jacket. The bugs come out this time of year. Its time to mow the lawn. Pollen comes out and bothers my allergies. I don't understand why people don't think 80 degrees is comfortable. Once it gets about 75 degrees, you start to sweat without even doing anything. You have to worry about sunburn and have to make sure you put plenty of sunscreen on. It's just aggravating.

We are looking to upgrade an old system. We need to store client information and order histories, we would also like to bill clients electronically. We would also like our delivery driver to have a way to keep track of customer's addresses and specific delivery instructions

I would suggest purchasing a new computer through Dell, something basic that will allow you to do the basic functions of a business.
In addition to that I would suggest purchasing The MS Office 2007 Suite, and you will be able to do all of your word processing and marketing with that software.
Finally, I would suggest QuickBooks Pro, as it is very user friendly, and you can track orders, and do all kinds of necessary transaction information on it. Its a great program, and if you need to hire someone in your area to help you set it up you can for a nominal fee

Orchids are grown in hot houses to bloom all year round. If you go to a nursery, you can find many lovely plants to buy. Try to buy one that is just starting to bloom. The flowers will last longer. Orchids love east light (morning sun). Keep them well-watered.
After your orchid blooms, it will resort to it's "natural" bloom time for repeat blooms (since you will not be keeping it under "hot house" conditions). Keep watering, feeding and you will get repeat blooms!!

I've been working there for six months now and feel like i need to move on and concentrate on school and do more community work. How should I tell my boss I want to leave?

New stores have now opened up and the Mayor is going to open a new transport system. Wonderful!
The Mayor has decided to introduce a Trolley System, it will cost you a small amount of Simoleons to use, but will save you time walking. Also, the Mayor has hired someone to reopen the Bakery. However, she thinks that the Highlands need to be addressed as they do not have the funds to hire a ranger.
Anyway, lets test the trolley. It only costs §10 a ride. Anyway, head back into town and talk with the baker, who offers you an experimental cake? How can cakes be experiments? Alway, he introduces himself as Chef Charlie. You now have the ability to buy cakes. Cakes can be used as gifts, just like flowers are. This will provide a massive boost to your Star Meter. It is more than half full, which is good news.
Head to the Highlands and enter the Rangers Hut. Someone obviously isn't happy at you. Marie will greet you as the new ranger the town cannot afford. She obviously doesn't know how to improve the highlands, so you have to figure it out yourself. You need to approach areas where there is little grass, so the dirt patches show. Most of them are near the road.
You have the option of planting a bed of sunflowers or tulips, build a sculpture or place a garden parasol. There are 5 patches to take care of. There are 18 patches that you can choose from. There are 6 due east of the ranger's hut. There is another set of 6 south west of the lake. The final set of 6 can be found due east of the last patch, or south east of the lake. Customise how you want the Highlands to look, this is your choice.
Anyway, head to the General Store. Olivia should say she will be absent the next day because she is out of stock. In two days time, pay her a visit and you will see she is missing again. Again, check under the table. She got stuck there looking for something. For saving her, you get §500. I did this on a Tuesday if that helps at all. After you talk to her after her latest disaster, you will have new items to purchase, including a black and white television!
Ok, one day after you have decorated the Highlands, head back and talk to Marie. She has found a Paraglider, and because it is old, she asks you to fly it and test if it is broken. You have no choice, even if you back out.
This opens up a new minigame. This will also greatly boost your Star Meter. We are nearly there because it is nearly full.
Wait for the next day, and talk to Marie again. She complains that no one goes paragliding, and that people might be interested if there was a good paraglider in the area, ie, you. If you choose paragliding now, it will cost you §50 to play. Rather expensive?
Go to Chef Charlie. You will need to buy some cakes from him. I had to buy about 5 to make him talk to me. He will give you a special offer. Buy more cakes and he will tell you a secret. For you only. He can tell you how the other customers are feeling.
Now, Chef will tell you something about himself. He says how everyone expects him to be like his Italian chef cousin Gino. But he likes Chinese food, and wishes to mix Chinese food and cake together. Anyway, from now on, if you buy some cakes from him, he will give you some news on his customers.
Anyway, go play some Racquetball. After you have finished your game, regardless of your score, Tim will talk to you, saying that you would be board of endless rally. He has arranged to play Target 1, whatever that is.

In Sayville(on Main St.),there's a florist called The Ramblin' Rose. They've been there forever,do nice work and are reasonable. James Cress is very reputable (Smithtown) but very pricey. DO NOT go to Towers Flowers in West Islip. They did my wedding,they were late and the flowers were awful. I went there another time for an Easter bouquet and a couple of the flowers were half dead. My mom used to work for Mayer's Flower Cottage (rt 112 in Patchogue) I haven't dealt with them in a long time but priced them for my brothers wedding and they were one of the most expensive but they've been around for a long time (family run) and have done nice work in the past. Beebe's in Brightwaters has a good reputation.

This is just a dream so I don't need the "do your research" lecture. I'm just beginning to ponder the idea. I've read that its less risky than the restaraunt business but I wanted to get some feedback from people who have done this or know those who have. Do owners work crazy hours? What are the negative aspects of such a venture? Thanks!

Growing up my dad always owned small business. He worked every day, crazy hours, could not be counted on for a time he would get home (but always made the big stuff), and all in all was a very busy dude.
On the other hand, one of my favorite childhood memories is during the summer every Friday we would leave the store at around noon and go see a movie. I still love movies.
It has its upsides and downsides.
Go with your gut.

What business do you think would be successful in a small town.?
Let's say you just bought a small storefront -- you have some tourism coming to town to visit the local antique shops, gas up and such, plus your local residents (approximately 3000 of them covering all ages with bulk in 35 to 50 age bracket -- women the larger percentage and most don't wear makeup or want to either. Most of your men are entrepenerial, farmers or work in surrounding towns. There are several parks in your area, a golf course, and library with internet, you also have net access. Older women make up the balance of your population. From your storefront you need to earn enough money to pay the overhead (cost of the building, taxes, insurance, ect..) plus make some money to add to your family budget. Competition with storefronts includes a beauty spa, tanning spa, antique shops, gift shops, flower shop, lumber yard, insurance companies, several quick shops, a couple of pizza places, sit in resturant, small grocery store, and a few banks. What would you open and why?

I don't know if your town is dry, if not consider a bar and grill--consider serving local beers if any. consider having a place for the farmers to come in and talk in the mornings while serving coffee.
I don't know if your town/county/state allows 8-liners game rooms, if they do consider it.
It sounds like there is limited entertainment for the local teenagers, consider a game room, maybe even a dance night.
Farmers are always in need of a good feed/hardware store, consider one that may even draw tourist by offering farming antiques--or a grill in the feed store and a place for farmers to set down and talk.

Before I give you my suggestion I am gonna say that this sounds very much like a homework assignment. I am not saying that I won't help...but if I am right...you need to learn it yourself or you will only fail once in the real world.
Okay, to my suggestion. First determine the amount of tourist that bring the kids with them and then add in the local kids and make a decision if a recreation spot for the kids is viable. Let's face it...kids aren't into antique shopping or golfing. And parents don't like shopping with kids pestering them...and golfing with kids is almost impossible.
I can't tell you the exact type of entertainment to offer...but, in my day it was an arcade. Perhaps, with a food bar too. It all depends on where the town is and what is acceptable in that town.
I am too old to tell you what kids like to do these days...my daughter is 25 now and I am sure that it has changed since she just went and hung out as a teen.
But, I think you get the idea.

I had an Idea for a Charity, What do you think?
Alright, Heres my idea. I want to go to flower shops and collect their scrap flowers to make arrangements for patients in hospitals ( Mental, or Health). I would use paper cups as mini vases, and take them to a children youth group for the kids to paint up pretty. I'd then arrange the flowers in the cups and give them to the long/mid term patients in the hospitals, hopefully on a weekly basis. Any comments on this idea? Overlooks?

How do I wrap a rose?
I have a friend in a play and I want to wrap a rose all nice for her. I have a rose, baby's breath, greens and I was going to wrap them in two contrasting colors of tissue paper and one piece of cellophane.Anyone know the steps to wrapping the rose like they do at a flower shop?

firstly have all the materials you need ( baby's breath, roses etc) ready including an elastic band.
Make the 'bouquet" in your hand. When it looks lovely use the elastic to secure it.
Then place in some water and cut all the stems underwater.
I like to wrap some wet cotton balls or make up remover pads or even wet paper towel around the cut ends to keep it moist.
Take your paper you are going to use and layer it in the order you want leaving it in the table as you layer.
The one that goes outside will be first.
Then take one corner and fold gently to make a large enough opening for the flowers. You'll need to fold it over about 1/2 of the way.
Holding the corner of the triangle fold it again. This makes a sort of funnel shape.
Place the flowers inside so the tip of the stems in in the tip of the fold.
Then tape it closed or use another elastic.
Tie a ribbon around the bottom part to add some extra beauty
Give it with love

Where online can I purchase Sterling Silver Roses?
I've checked all the major online flower shops to no avail: proflowers, 800flowers, ftd, conroys, etc. Does anyone know where I can purchase these beautiful roses?

If I were you i'd make a different choice. Sterling Sliver has a very low rating from the American Rose Society. (last time i checked it was rated at 4.2 out of a 0 to 10 rating system.) I had nothing but trouble with the one I received as a gift. As a rule most serious Rose growers won't touch a Rose lower then 8.0. Sterling Sliver is at half that rating. Several others that I know of also found it to be a waste of garden space when so many better Roses are out there. I assure you, you will be unhappy with this Rose in your garden.

Strange as this may sound, some flower shop employees (depending on who you speak to) don't know they're rose varieties. The next time you ask for such roses (if you want cut ones) say, "Do you have any lavender roses in stock? The kind with the strong fragrance?" Then they will definitely know what you are talking about. I can't imagine a florist with a good reputation not being able to get a hold of these roses for you.
Then again, the actual variety of fragrant, lavender roses florist now use might have changed.
A potted Sterling Silver for your garden? More popular varieties have taken over the market. These include: Moon Madness, Purple Passion, Melody Parfumee, and Intrigue.
As an aside, I believe one of the parents of Sterling Silver was the Peace Rose.
Hope this helps you. Hope you can at least find a substitute for this very unusual and precious rose variety.

Any Florists out there with advice?
I graduated from university this past august, and am already tired of corporate america. I've thought for a while that I would enjoy working in a flower shop, but am not sure how to pursue a job with a florist. By that I mean learning to be one myself, not just ringing up the flowers. My qualifications don't line up at all, yet... (I had a roommate whose mother worked in a florist's shop so I'm not ENTIRELY naive about the demands of wedding season and its brides, or the finger toughness necessary to wire countless roses) -- any tips/suggestions on how to approach so drastic a career change?
Any Florists out there with advice?
Before you go to any flower shop for a job, ask your self a few questions. Are you good under stress, Can you work very long hours for no pay, are you willing to work every holiday and what do you really expect from your training, if you don't know what to expect, then what are you goals and dreams for 5 years down the road.
The Flower business is one of the hardest businesses to be in. Orders come in last minute and everything has to be made last minute. Your dealing with a perishable product and the shop that you work for will probably be turning over it’s complete stock every two to 3 days. You will work late on Friday nights to prep/finish for Saturday wedding, you will work late on Saturday to prep/finish Sundays wedding. On a normal Friday, you will work 9am to 9pm and Saturday 8am to 7pm. If there are wedding(s) during a florist holiday, i.e. Mother’s day or Valentine’s Day you will work until 1am, Owners will work even later. You will be on your feet all day, In busy shops there are no chairs, chairs cut down on the amount of work you can do and how fast you can do it. Time is Money.
You will work Mother’s day, Thanksgiving Day, Valentine’s Day, Easter, and some florist work Christmas Day. Don’t ask off any days during those weeks because they will just fire you and hire the next person that will work.
A normal workweek for employee is 40 hours, but at times of the year 50-60 hours happen. Owner will work 60-70 hours. No Benefits.
Sorry I do not want to scare you, it’s just the way it is.
Before you go for your first florist job, you will want to go to a high volume shop that the owners are florist and that are there on a day to day basis. This is how you will get the best training. Most better flower shops are Family owned, the family will train you and treat you like family, especially after you become good, but then they will expect you to show up or stay when someone calls out, just like family. I would stay away from very large florist or florist with absentee owner, they have managers that will not train you well.
I prefer the applicants that apply to my shop to look presentable, but not so dressed that I feel that you do not want to get dirty, you will get dirty. No long nails, you cannot tie balloons with long nails. Be honest, tell them you want to be a florist and that your willing to work when needed but you need training. Florists are looking for Reliability, That you show up all the time, on time and that you are going to work for them forever. Training if you went to school to be a florist is about $2000. I feel it takes 3 years of working in a florist before your any good. Some florist will train you in exchange for not paying you. I always felt this is the wrong message. Do not work without being paid, you should be paid something even if it is only $7-8 per hour.
Is there any upside of being a florist? Yes, People share with you the special moment of their life; Births, Birthdays, anniversaries and the pain of losses. Regular customers will ask for and about you by name. You will become part of a larger family in a sense. Everyday it’s different and for the most part happy.
Any Florists out there with advice?
Before you go to any flower shop for a job, ask your self a few questions. Are you good under stress, Can you work very long hours for no pay, are you willing to work every holiday and what do you really expect from your training, if you don't know what to expect, then what are you goals and dreams for 5 years down the road.
The Flower business is one of the hardest businesses to be in. Orders come in last minute and everything has to be made last minute. Your dealing with a perishable product and the shop that you work for will probably be turning over it’s complete stock every two to 3 days. You will work late on Friday nights to prep/finish for Saturday wedding, you will work late on Saturday to prep/finish Sundays wedding. On a normal Friday, you will work 9am to 9pm and Saturday 8am to 7pm. If there are wedding(s) during a florist holiday, i.e. Mother’s day or Valentine’s Day you will work until 1am, Owners will work even later. You will be on your feet all day, In busy shops there are no chairs, chairs cut down on the amount of work you can do and how fast you can do it. Time is Money.
You will work Mother’s day, Thanksgiving Day, Valentine’s Day, Easter, and some florist work Christmas Day. Don’t ask off any days during those weeks because they will just fire you and hire the next person that will work.
A normal workweek for employee is 40 hours, but at times of the year 50-60 hours happen. Owner will work 60-70 hours. No Benefits.
Sorry I do not want to scare you, it’s just the way it is.
Before you go for your first florist job, you will want to go to a high volume shop that the owners are florist and that are there on a day to day basis. This is how you will get the best training. Most better flower shops are Family owned, the family will train you and treat you like family, especially after you become good, but then they will expect you to show up or stay when someone calls out, just like family. I would stay away from very large florist or florist with absentee owner, they have managers that will not train you well.
I prefer the applicants that apply to my shop to look presentable, but not so dressed that I feel that you do not want to get dirty, you will get dirty. No long nails, you cannot tie balloons with long nails. Be honest, tell them you want to be a florist and that your willing to work when needed but you need training. I am the accountant in a small flower shop. Does leaving lights on in a cooler affect cut flowers: carnations, alstroemeria, snapdragons, etc.

Without knowing your exact set-up, it's kind of difficult to make suggestions. I know sometimes stores within stores are kind of tucked away in the corner somewhere and people forget they are there.
My suggestion would be to find something new you can offer, some kind of interesting products or service. Maybe not necessarily something as elaborate as a clever delivery service but clearly you need something like that which would be different from other florists in the area. Maybe even different breeds of flowers that others aren't carrying or special kinds of cards/balloons.
You might even be able to work something out with the grocers as far as advertising, because better business for you will get more people into their store. Maybe more exposure from signs out front, or if they run commercials start working you in.

Hey, I posted a question about picking out my prom date's corsage an hour or so ago, and as it turns out, I've got another question. Your first priority is to pay your wholesalers, pay your rent, pay the wire services, and then pay your self in that order.
Are you a florist? If your Gross sales are under $300000 (if your sales are above 300K then you have a purchasing/Sell through problem, Different set of problems), fire all your employees after mother’s day, with exception of the Driver. Hire a young happy/bouncy high school girl for after school 3 days a week and pay them $6.00 per hour (or minimum wage if your state has a higher Minimum Wage). Trained Florists can be paid good money, and that will eat at the bottom line. Do the work yourself, Put in the long hours needed. The Happy Bouncy high school girl will, more then likely have lots of friends and she will tell here friends where she works, you will get prom corsage / Boutonniere work out of here, Maybe graduation work. Word of mouth is cheap advertising.
If you are not a florist, learn… Ask your best designer to show you, every day. Holidays are coming and it’s best to have a second or third hand in the shop.
Expand your hours. You should be working at a min from 9am to 6:30pm Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Thursdays and Fridays 9am to 7pm (a lot of people get paid on Thursdays). Saturdays 9 to 5 Sundays (yes Sundays) 10-1.
90% of all advertising done to florist is for gifts, but only 10% of your sales will come form gifts. Stop buying gift items, No Silks either – A silk arrangement is a one-time sale you need repeat sales.
No Billing %26amp; No checks – Credit cards and Cash only. Certain People you will have to bill, Schools townships, Fire deptments ECT. No Personal billing. You cannot go into a supermarket or burger king and say bill me. People never want to pay after the flowers are delivered.
If you have billed people and there behind, call them and nicely ask for payment. Remember it’s your money.
For the people that you have to bill, Send the bill right away, do not what until the end of the month, The quicker you bill the quicker you’ll get paid.
Buy fewer flowers, Remember to buy only the amount of flowers that you can sell in 2-3 days. More frequent buying will translate into fresher flowers. Fresher flowers will mean repeat customers.
Limit special orders, Your customer wants a orchid corsage for tomorrow and you don’t have any flowers coming up, Tell them no, If it’s for later in the week or you do have flowers coming up then sure, but if you have to pay $6.50 to $8.00 for shipping of stem of orchids that you got $20.00 for a corsage, You lost money.
Limit your delivery area and your delivery times; this one is hard without knowing where you are. I keep my driver on form 10 to 2 every day (No Deliveries on Sundays), Later during holidays. Things will come up that I will make some deliveries my self after hours, but I do not make it a rule.

We have hired several people who have taken one of these courses, and I don't recall anyone who turned out to be any more useful than those with zero experience.
Your best course of action would be to actually work in a real flower shop. Start with a part-time sales job. You might discover that this profession is not what you have imagined.

Your first priority is to pay your wholesalers, pay your rent, pay the wire services, and then pay your self in that order.
Are you a florist? If your Gross sales are under $300000 (if your sales are above 300K then you have a purchasing/Sell through problem, Different set of problems), fire all your employees after mother’s day, with exception of the Driver. Hire a young happy/bouncy high school girl for after school 3 days a week and pay them $6.00 per hour (or minimum wage if your state has a higher Minimum Wage). Trained Florists can be paid good money, and that will eat at the bottom line. Do the work yourself, Put in the long hours needed. The Happy Bouncy high school girl will, more then likely have lots of friends and she will tell here friends where she works, you will get prom corsage / Boutonniere work out of here, Maybe graduation work. Word of mouth is cheap advertising.
If you are not a florist, learn… Ask your best designer to show you, every day. Holidays are coming and it’s best to have a second or third hand in the shop.
Expand your hours. You should be working at a min from 9am to 6:30pm Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Thursdays and Fridays 9am to 7pm (a lot of people get paid on Thursdays). Saturdays 9 to 5 Sundays (yes Sundays) 10-1.
90% of all advertising done to florist is for gifts, but only 10% of your sales will come form gifts. Stop buying gift items, No Silks either – A silk arrangement is a one-time sale you need repeat sales.
No Billing %26amp; No checks – Credit cards and Cash only. Certain People you will have to bill, Schools townships, Fire deptments ECT. No Personal billing. You cannot go into a supermarket or burger king and say bill me. People never want to pay after the flowers are delivered.
If you have billed people and there behind, call them and nicely ask for payment. Remember it’s your money.
For the people that you have to bill, Send the bill right away, do not what until the end of the month, The quicker you bill the quicker you’ll get paid.
Buy fewer flowers, Remember to buy only the amount of flowers that you can sell in 2-3 days. More frequent buying will translate into fresher flowers. Fresher flowers will mean repeat customers.
Limit special orders, Your customer wants a orchid corsage for tomorrow and you don’t have any flowers coming up, Tell them no, If it’s for later in the week or you do have flowers coming up then sure, but if you have to pay $6.50 to $8.00 for shipping of stem of orchids that you got $20.00 for a corsage, You lost money.
Limit your delivery area and your delivery times; this one is hard without knowing where you are. I keep my driver on form 10 to 2 every day (No Deliveries on Sundays), Later during holidays. Things will come up that I will make some deliveries my self after hours, but I do not make it a rule.

My storebought Daisies died, I planted them outside will they grow?
I bought a bouqet of dasies from a flower shop a few weeks ago and they finally died - so I took them outside to my garden and plucked all the heads off and sowed them into the ground because of the seeds in the middle....will they produce daisies again and be a perennial next year?

Another similar effect is the 'French Crackle' which is done be create a solid colored vessel, gathering clear glass on the outside, then applying a thin layer of opaque powder. The piece is heated until its pretty hot, dunked in water, and then blown out. The inner layer expands the cracks to show the opaque color underneath.

I have a friends who's finance brought her a dozen roses for Valentine's Day and their already wilted.
What should she do? Should she call the flower shop to report this? She doesn't want to hurt his feelings by returning them. I told her they would probably replace them, but is there special care to keep them fresh longer?

Cut a bit off the stem at an angle then either crush the bottom bit of the stem or snip into it about quarter or an inch. Then place in very hot water for about 2 minutes. Then place in ordinary water with rose feed and that should do the trick. If all fails contact the florist and complain. Good Luck

If her fiance delivered her the roses himself ...he may be to blame....but I would still call flower shop and let them know that the roses died immediately. They may replace them.
If she gets new roses....keep them wrapped up good to protect them from cold. Take them out of wrapper and use sharp knife and cut about an inch off bottom of stem. Cut at an angle. Put in water/floral mix right away. The greenhouse should have provided a packet of fresh flower soluable mix for water. If not ...add a little 7up (soda) to water. Change water every other day. I always recut my roses at that time. They should last a week or more.

In recommendation for a possible stalker, be aware of your surroundings. If you do have a stalker, you'll soon know.

i don't want them showing up in a box, i want them to get there already arranged and everything. No opening a box involved.

online flower shops have contacts already with local flower shops. so as if anyone will order online, then they will just wire it to their local shops for delivery. but some online flower shops have their own shops too that's why some page have warnings like "no international delivery".

What can I do to make gerberas last longer?
I buy gerberas from the supermarket all the time. They look great for the first 2 days then they begin to die. So they last me about 3-4days. I change the water frequently. I put the "plant food." I cut the stem diagonally and under water. I don't know what else to do. Is it because it’s from a supermarket and not a flower shop? What can I do to increase their life span?

Yes, you can grow tomatoes in pots. It would be best if you would use a large pot.
Here is something you might be interested in...buy a bag of vegetable potting soil. Cut the top and fold down, plant your tomato in the bag. Be sure to punch a few holes in the bottom so that water can drain. Don't forget to water your tomato plant.
You can also do this with potatoes.
It is a lot of fun.

You just need to learn certain things for this work, and pass a Test given by the State Realtor Board/Commission. One thing they actually teach is the Proper Pronouncing of your profession. ;-)
Talk to people in these areas, so, you know. Realtor, you need a Cell, Business Cards, Yard Signs etc. Company may furnish the sign, but, YOU may have to furnish the Bumper Sticker on it with your name and Cell number, I have worked in this before, it is fun and you can make good money if you organized.
Most Car dealers offer free training for this field and sometimes pay you a small salary until you get going.
Both of the above may be a commissioned based work!!!! Learn, think and GO GET'EM GIRL!!!!!!!!!
